Fashion’s connection to music is one that cannot be easily ignored. Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Buddy Holly embody the sound and look of Rockabilly. The Misfits, Bad Religion, and The Clash rebel against the masses with the look of Punk.
Fashion Indie pits the two against each other in an all-or-nothing dance party/fashion show to crown the king and queen of Rockabilly/Punk.
Event: Fashion Indie’s Punk vs. Rockabilly Halloween Party
Date & Time: Thursday, October 25th, 10:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Venue: Arena, 135 W. 41st Street, nyc
Description: Punk vs. Rockabilly will be an all night Halloween party where guests can dress in Punk or Rockabilly style garb.
COSTUMES ARE OPTIONAL
Prizes will be awarded to the King and Queen of each style group, with a $250 prize given to each winner. The event will incorporate a live performance by rockabilly band The Rhodes.
DJ’s will mix rock and punk with today’s dance hits.
